About The Brownies

Welcome to Just The Brownies! We are Sheela and Tomas, a mixed couple who love to blend our cultures together in our home. Tomas is Puerto Rican and African American and grew up in Atlanta, while Sheela is Nepali American and grew up just outside of Detroit. We have a maltipoo named Kitty who is a constant source of joy and entertainment in our lives.

Tomas is a big fan of home renovations and loves nothing more than tackling a new project around the house. Sheela, on the other hand, is all about expressing her creative side through arts and crafts. Together, we make a dynamic duo who love nothing more than making our home a warm and welcoming place for our family and friends.

On this blog, we’ll be sharing all about our lives, from our thoughts on relationships and love to advice on dating and current events. We’ll also be sharing some of our favorite home decor and renovation projects, so be sure to stay tuned for updates and inspiration.
